An hour and a half!

In an hour and a half, you can do a lot of things, such as watching 3 episodes of Modern Family, revise a chapter of Macroeconomics, and the list goes on. Today, my one hour and a half was spend meeting back friends that taught and educated me about working life!

Yes! I went back to the company which I interned for 2 months. The company is called INK | INKsports PR & Publications . They were so kind in taking me in as their intern especially since I have no experience whatsoever in the field. I went in and did the interview. In the interview, they asked me why I want to be their intern, I remember answering that I want to know the business and understand how everything works. I was actually so so so nervous that I didn't know what I was saying, but Praise the Lord i got the internship!

Today, when I went back, I met up with the KWAPs! It stands for the first alphabets of our name:D

Kubrina, Wy Lyn, Abygayle and me<3 nbsp="nbsp">

I sorta forced her to let me carry her! But boy, why are you so skinny!!:D We both have the typical chinese smiles: once you see our teeth, you can't see our eyes!
Kwapies!

I didnt managed to see an awesome lady as she was away. Beloved Cornelia prepared my birthday pressie months ago, and I finally got to go and get it!! Thank you so much! Really appreciate it!

My heart beats for you!

Insides is filled with adorable stuffs! There is a handphone holder doll which seriously looks like me, a ice cream calculator, a PUMA's Bolt shoot in which I was involved in their shoot, and my favourite Heong Piang!
Those 2 months, I learned on how to always be on my toes, getting ready for a call or a job. They made me laugh and I made them laugh. Shared tears, joy, and knowledge:D Love you guys to bits!

KNITTING: Helsinki hat

Mid-term exams are finally over!! (yip yip hooray) I haven't been blogging because I been busy planning for November and wanted to do some things different for a change. October had been a bit slow for me, as it is a planning month. So which means in the coming months, there will quite a lot of interesting things lined up! Hope you are as excited as I am!:D

Recently I been quite hook to Pinterest, and i discovered some really cool sites for knitting, such as Wool and the Gang, Purlbee and more. I had always love knitting, however I do live in a country where the weather is rain or shine, so there isn't much opportunities for me. So far all that i have knitted are scarves!! So I am very proud of myself for knitting this hat.

I got the pattern, and instructions from Wool and the Gang. Their pattern and their style are very simple but yet chic! I did change the number of stitches and row as my yarns are thinner. Soooooo, just experiment with it. I managed to make this in 2 nights! Good job, Pearl!

Pardon my makeup-less face and that you have to see my eyebags. I couldn't wait. Sorry!:P

Beauty Expo + Sephora Goodies!

Hello everybody!!!!:D

Finally, yes, finally i can post this up! I wanted to do this way back, but due to the crazy amount of college works and being sick in bed with a injured back, let me just scream that it really wasn't a good combination!:(

Okay. I shall stop laughing at that gif. I just love it to bits:D Back to the goodies, this are all that i got!

The moment I stepped into the convention center, I went straight to the skincare department. If anything, skincare is equally as important as makeup for me. A good skin is the best canvas. That is my principles:)

Collagen masks! So happy I got this! The Gold is for my mum, while the Crystal is for me.
This is a very popular serum among makeup artists. We use this for brides and all, it basically moisturize your face x100times, lift up your faceskin, and prevent the natural oil from caking the makeup. Bought this for work, as mine finished:D

I spend a good hour in the skincare section and besides this, I really couldn't find anything else that i wanted, and I decided to move on and not look back.
Stocking up! I bought this from a korean lady who couldn't really speak English, but the moment I held this bag, I know i have to buy this. The sponges are really soft, and the pores of the sponges are fine. I got this packet for RM10, so after i used one, i can just throw it away. Aren't I hygienic?:D She was so lovely, she gave me a nail filer as well, FOR FREE! :D
So yeah, being in a korean section, means SCARY MODE TIME! My eyes were like an eagle's, looking for something that really really catches my eyes. and WALA! I found the perfect kiosk, with a handsome man standing there:3

This man basically told me the story about this brand,  you can check them out in Touch in SOL. I really really like their products. It is very like in texture and very sheer. I will do a review on the blusher.
They ran out of stock for the bb cream that i wanted to try, so they gave me a sample:D

I decided to buy this palette of blusher because it is perfect. There is orange and its' highlighter, same goes for the pink one. It was just exactly what i was looking for, and it was only RM50.

Good news is that they might be opening a section of their products in Watson's and I simply can't wait. Their goods are really good:D

My Beauty expo shopping actually stopped here, but then my Sephora's shopping begins!

I actually knew exactly what i want to get even before going! I think people that knows me really well, could tell what i wanted to get.

You are right! The First Naked palette from Urban Decay! The package came along with a small bottle of eyeshadow primer!

As you can see, i already tried some on.. AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT!
For the Naked palette, I will make some makeup tutorials in the future for you to play around with it. I have quite a number of ideas of look that i think you guys will love it. so STAY TUNED!!

Tips that change my life!

Hello, everybody!!

Before i go on, watch this...

After I watched this, I was very inspired. To be bullied, to be looked down, to be pitied didn't bring this man down. In fact, I think he has the most genuine smile in this world:D Those points i mentioned, easily anyone who is fully capable of doing anything, dwelled in the thought of negativeness, and can't get out of it.

I, for one, am a very optimistic person, who make it a must to try something new every month. Just do it! Those were the words that I tell myself, and just believe and work around it. The positive energy that motivates you will pull all the good things towards you! It took me 3 years to realize that, and i'm glad that it only took me 3 years:D

I wanna share my personal tips that drives me and keep me optimistic and strong. Sharing is caring!:D

Things that I believe that can change lives.

  1. Hang out with people that supports your dreams and motivates you to work towards it.
  2. Write it down, and visualize the dream of your lifetime happening.
  3. To pick yourself up. One failure today means you are closer to your success.
  4. Be prepared spiritually, mentally and physically to face challenges.
  5. Be optimistic at ALL times.
Last, but not least.

Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

Enjoy!

Weekly inspiration!

I just started blogging, and I can say that this one steps just opens up my mind and challenge me to think outside of the box. Some ideas are really good, while some i second-guess. I do admit that I like this to be perfect, and hence here comes all the doubts on whether should i do this, can i do it, and etc. I am still trying to figure out how to use the template, and settings of the blog. The quality still ain't quite there, but there is definitely improvements. It is a process and a journey that i am learning by each step i take. So for those that just started like me or had been blogging for quite awhile, believe in your decision, take the first step to do it, and strive to polish it. Your creative outlook will definitely be an inspiration of many people, whether you know it or not. I know I had been inspired every single day.

Review: L'Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner

This past few days, I been staying home, even though it is my college break, because my nose had been leaking like a paip. Yes people! I had caught the common cold! Tissues had been my best friend for the past few days, along with a hot cup of honey lemon.

Anyway, back to main topic! Today I am going to do a review on L'Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner!

YEAH!!
I got this from getting 2nd runner-up for CHCKL's Emerge's Beauty Pageant. Phew! That was a mouth full!
First time joining Emerge Beauty Pageant was definitely a life-changing experience. I stood out from my comfort zone and spoke about myself and what do i think and such. You see! I do stand on a stage VERY often, but it is different when you have a character that you are dancing to, and when you just need to be your very self for people to know who you are. One experience that i will never forget.

Back to the review!

sorry, got carried away......:P

Before anything, I have long, permed hair which are thin, and occasionally dry. Going to admit something, I think just in the year of 2012, I had dye-ed my hair 5 times. *guilty as charged* Was turning over a new leaf from golden brown back to my natural color, which is like this grayish brown color. Most of you must be thinking, how in the world do I save up all the money to pay for the services?!?!?! WALA! This is because I am a blessed girl who have a mom who owns a beauty saloon.  Love you mum!<3 nbsp="nbsp" p="p">

L'Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner

This pair have a blend of argan cottonseed oils, Vitamin E and essential fatty acids. Let me just break it down for you.
Argan cottonseed oils: Oils, as we know, are very very moisturizing. Your hair absorbs it like a sponge. Argan cottonseed oils are considered one of the rarest oils. It makes your hair healthier and shinier!
Vitamin E: It helps the growth of the hair, as well as preventing further hair loss.Vitamin E helps with the growth of capillaries, which improves circulation. The improved circulation to the scalp is the trigger for preventing hair loss and promote hair growth.
Essential Fatty acids: This are fatty acids that our body cannot synthesis on their own. For hair, it helps to strengthen it, and promote growth as well.

L'Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Nourishing Shampoo

The first time I press the shampoo out from the bottle, I was like: WOW! This looks nourishing!.
and I was right. After i rinsed off the shampoo, I don't feel like it stripped my hair nutrients away. In fact, it felt very replenished.

L'Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Nourishing Conditioner

The conditioner as well, didn't disappoint me. Nourishing just as well. The moment i apply it on my hair, I could feel my hair absorbing it very very quickly.

The obvious changes are that before I use this, my curls look as those I had it for ages, which it true. But after just one use, I been getting a lot of compliments and people had been asking me whether I re-perm it. This is because the bounce to the curls returned due to the hair restoring its strength, and that make me very happy!!  Just with one wash! Now my hair routine is wash my hair, put some conditioning oil on it, and I am done! I just let everything do its own magic.

My only complain about this is that it is in such a small bottle. I had only been using it for a month, and more than half a bottle is gone:'( Luckily i won 2 sets of this amazing product!

I still have yet to try the L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Color Glow Oil and L'Oreal Professionnel London Addixion, which I won it as well. Let me try it first, then I see whether i want to do a review on it!:D Most likely i would:P:P:P:P Since i already love the shampoo and conditioner.

I really, really like this product! L'Oreal, you did it right! Good job!! Thumbsie up!

As for now, Love wholeheartedly, and Live life extraordinary!

Beauty Expo 2012

Been down with a flu recently, and the saddest part of it is, this is my mid-semester break, and i won't be able to enjoy it.:(

Anyway, last, last saturday i went for this Beauty Expo held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, and I was excited!! Basically, Beauty Expo is an annual event, but somehow i always seem to miss it, or I get to know it a day after the event had ended! In this event, there are lots of beauty shows for both makeup and hair! Besides that, there are many exhibitors from many different countries such as Singapore, Korea, Japan and more that came down to Malaysia to promote their products. Most of the products there, are saloon brands. Not common to see it in shopping malls and all. Some products are not even out in the market yet! So i was really looking forward to it!

I listed the things that i want to buy within my budget and all, i was like a kid that is allowed to buy as many toys as they want. It was LALALALALALA sing a happy song~

I couldn't help but leave a mark saying I BEEN THERE.
Okay! I already have a makeup case and all, but how could you not drool over this? I was seriously so tempted, but Thank God for disciplining me and I resisted with great strength! But this is definitely going into To-get list!

Can't get it, but hey, a picture won't hurt:P
By this time, I sorta got most stuff off my checklist. But hey! There was a hair show going on, which I didn't know about, so out of curiosity i went for the hairs how and it was an 'interesting' one indeed.
This is Mattie:D I sorta didn't tell him we were going for Beauty Expo:D But hey! He was a good sport!
My way of saying Welcome to Beauty Expo:P

Okay! The main reason why i said this hairshow was 'interesting' is that it mixed dance, singing, acting and hair show all together. It definitely is something new, but I personally don't think it worked for me. Was so distracted with what was going on with the performance that i lost track of the hair show.

The main person of the hairshow with his dancers!

He cut her hair in this position! I was really amazed, at the same time I hope they don't slip and fall:S

With that fashion show, I ended my first beauty expo experience! I will do a haul on what i buy from the expo and besides that, do a review on one or two things that i tried and really really like!!!

As for now, Love wholeheartedly, and Live life extraODDinary!

Check out my new sunglasses from the prizes i got from Beauty Pageant competition!:D
